@Waspinator or Anti Fanboy

It is safe to say that you find N82 is lacking

Reading your post gives me a sense of dejavu. I had my fair share of grouses on my N95-8GB that attract fires from its ardent fans (on Mobile Review forum N95 8GB thread, page 15 onward). Perhaps it is true that if you based your expectation by reading various reviews and some fans posts, it can be misleading. It may give a false expectation that top N-series like N95 8GB and N82 are the bestest, so everyone must be happy to have them. Well they are not!

As mentioned, they are just a good all rounder with their own flaws. Some may like it some may not. However in all fairness, SE also makes flawed sets. The uiq on W960 is laggy and the camera in K850 is mediocre unlike the previous successful K750 and K800. SE build quality of late is also not as solid as before. So my advice, try to live with your N82 or sell if you must. Start saving for some future products like Bei bei, Paris or N96.

In fairness, nobody force any1 to be happy with his/her phone. But to slate a phone due to one's inability to use it or one's lack of understanding of the technology or due to some isolated and untypical hardware/software defect is false representation.

I do not see the use of making another topic just cause you are not informed or self-educated properly about technology. Even if you are un-satisfaction can be expressed in numerous other topics, including the one done by yourself, "K850i or N82".

i loved the n82..

it was fast and stable... never crashed on me...
however the loud speakers do suck.. (comparable to most SE's) but embarrassed if put against the n95.

IMO it's easily the most complete s60 phone to date... the only problem was i kinda missed having a big screen and didn't like the look of the phone too much.. face it... it's kinda ugly lol

in terms of pratical usage i'll say for the most part SE's walkman software runs a little faster and smoother and is easier to use IF it has the old hardkeys (play/stop etc....first gen) if you compare it to the new w910/k850 (2nd gen) stuff both media players are pretty much the same application wise minus fancy eyecandy...

i thought the keypad was great, nice and clicky and responsive.. the dpad and softkeys are kinda ass.. especially that useless media key...(that should be moved to where the gallery key is IMO)
