Hi,
I m confused between N73 and W910. which of them has better music quality and clarity.
Camera no doubt is better in N73 and cost wise N73 is lesser. but i m looking in for music . and is it advisable to buy W910 only for music..
Overall performance wise which is better

Id suggest looking at the 5320-XM or NOKIA N78, both will be much better than the cute lil W910. 5320-XM and N78 have the latest Symbian S60v3.2 OS9.3 with Menu Transitions and Animations PLUS the 5320xm uses a new audio technology. 5320xm also has Ngage with Ngage Gaming keys, dedicated Music keys, 3.5mm jack as well as 369mhz CPU making it fast enough to keep up with the little W910.

5320xm should be released VERY soon, at a lower price than W910.
Its a shame the last guy chose a W910, missing out on a lot of new softwares being added to S60.

Hi,
I am looking for a phone in the range of 12 to 14 K, also am looking for more in music than camera. Also need a light weight phone. somthing that is not bulky. My cell phone has conked off so need a phone immediately. Used a W810i previously so need something that has better music than W810i.
Also what is the price range on N98 and is the music quality better than W810i, N73 / W910 ?
Please tell me, thanks.

Hi Kabayan, a black W910 suits you well. You mentioned that you want better performance and overall speed in using and navigating menus etc. W910 simply kicks in when it comes to this aspect.
not even a 5700 would beat W910 performance wise. why? assuming that 5700 would utilize menu transitions to the same level as with W910(i mean everything that W910 has will be incorporated in 5700) don't we think this thing would overkill the highly-praised fast UI of the 5700 and the rest of all the Symbian phones utilizing 369Mhz+ Cpus. and yes N73ME tends to lag in some of the times(i have a friend that uses N73ME btw) and it's annoying that whenever you access the messaging program you'll be waiting for a couple of second or more just to open messages in contrast to W910 which instantly opens up. not to mention that the phone crashes Java programs or the phone lags whenever you are using messaging, web browser and music player at the same time.

You can't compare the performance of a W910i with a symbian 9.2 and a more powerful processor (arm11 at 369Mhz) and dsp( StarCore SCe 140 at 250Mhz) like of the Nokia 5700 for not talk of the type of applications that can be used in this platform. For example the web browser o f W910i it is so weak compared whit the open OSS browser of this and other models s60 of the same edition, some with full navigation with Flash Lite 3 for the web flash videos. The sound of 5700 it surpasses completely the sound of W910i as much with the headphones ones as with speakers.

Yep like said above. The N81 got Menu Effects and Transitions in its latest firmware, yet its also running on the Freescale 369mhz ARM11 CPU. I can assure you its STILL a fast device, even with over 7applications running and Transitions turned on its still very quick and stable, the 369mhz CPU can most definetly handle all the work.
Why take a W890 over N78? When N78 is clearly the better device, and knowing NOKIA it will be regularly getting FW updates that even add extra features like what NOKIA has done with N81, N82, N95 and N95-8GB, ALL those now have FlashLite3.0 so they support Desktop YouTube and stream it very well , WRT Widgets support, added FP2 OS9.3 Effects to the FP1 OS9.2 N81 on top of this update, added more RAM to the N95 on top of the same update, On-Demand Paging (increased battery life with it), and other features in Stand By and some other places, i think the N78 would be the safer bet over the W890 by far

w910 is still quite expensive..... so why dont buy a C902. (same sound as w910), then you get good camera + good sound

yes you can compare the performance. The s60 has better multi-tasking, but in sheer performance terms (speed, ui efficiency etc) of course you can compare a s60 against a non-smartphone like the w910. Infact due to there simplicity non-smartphones are often far more responsive than their smartphone brothers.
If someone will never install an s60 application - then there is virtually no advantage of s60 over A200 (w910 runs A200 UI).
The W910 is a fast, responsive handset with an efficiently designed UI.
Regarding web access, true the W910 built in browser is not as good as the N73 browser, however the Opera Mini j2me browser is better than both the N73 AND w910 native browsers.
Also the advantage of using the free opera mini on the W910, you can minimise the browser to use the phone, something you can't do with the native browser.
So for someone who only wants good web browser, good music, fast UI, excellent call and sms ergonomics, in a neat, reliable package, the W910 is the answer.

Nokia web browser easily beats the opera mini. Its much, much easier to use. I cant really imagine someone with a nokia using opera mini
