Well, I just got a dead k800 off ebay (was promised one with intermittent freezes/reboots, but got a total brick), but this one won't even detect which CID it has. I can get wotam/kk/XS++/setool to detect it as a DB2020 phone if I press 2+5 when connecting or use a cruiser cable, but it won't identify the phone model and kk, which is the one that gets closer to it, won't update the EROM, either via the DCU-60 cable with the errors people have shown here ("EROM CL Wrong Response!"), or via the cruiser cable with "Error: EsB". KK only detects a "DB2020: A1 Series" phone, there is no more text.
I guess I should send it back and ask for a refund, right?
