Toyota/Lexus, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Subaru... sorry but they reflect quality and tradition. Oh and quite possibly Kia in the very near future, there were days when people laughed in the face of Toyota and Nissan...

non asian brands? last i checked Mercedes made woeful quality cars, ericsson's mobile division got bankrupt, bang and olufsen is for celebrities most of the rest i've never even heard of.
Samsung is asian. Toyota, another asian brand is one of the biggest automobile maker in the world with top quality stuff. Honda spits in the face of merc or BMW IMO. Mitsubishi is also asian. Dont even ever forget SONY, which eventually bought your high-quality ericsson's ever dying mobile division. Add Nintendo to that list too. Seriously, what were you thinking saying asian brands dont have quality or tradition?
So there you go, your "asian brands are low quality" myth totally busted.

QVGA, Toyota is THE biggest manufacturer, knocking GM off the top recently. Mercedes quality has gone down, but they working on it, and when I say has gone down, it's still excellent. You ever sat in a higher end car? SL/CL/S/GL/R etc? Seriously, Honda doesn't spit on these cars
They make a good car... but not CL63 quality/power/refinement levels

What i meant was that Honda has come a long way. Their VTEC engines used in the Civic and Accord are quite superb and so are their CTD-i diesels. The new civic is quite a splendid car and a huge step forward from the previous gen civic.
Merc on the other hand are going down, their customer dis-satisfaction is off the charts. I did get a chance to drive the S class and sadly it just doesnt compare to the S class of yesteryear. Between a BMW 7 series and a S class, I'm guessing more people will go for the BMW
