Don't forget that right now every series can contain candy-bar, clamshell, slider or swirl form factor. So Z series is not needed anymore. The last digit in the phone name decides about unit's form factor.

I like the "R" series, AM bands are quite useful here sometimes.

Thank you for the update.

Too many SE designations.

SE should really combine some phone types into one and get rid of others (for example, combine the W and C/K lines into one. The best of both worlds)!

Z series can be cancelled, or say those flip phones do not need to classify as one series.
Just like T303 as a slider phone and grouped in T series... and those slider/flip in W series.
New classification is according to their main selling function, not their outlook, so:

C = Cyber-shot
F = Fun for games
G = Generation Web (not necessary be UIQ Phone, just like G502)
J = 2G Phone, Basic Function without camera
K = Basic Function with camera
M = Mail ?
P = UIQ PRO Phone
R = Radio
S = Snapshot
T = Style (just like T650 and T303)
V = Vodafone
W = Walkman
Xperia = WM Phone

Have you, perchance, heard of the Entertainment Unlimited brand? Or Xperia?
