Verichsan:
Try using the ffg Smtp server:
smtp.globenet.com.ph
Just make sure your gprs is working and you can send & receive yahoo mails by Outlook, Eudora, or others.

As I mentioned in my previous mail, Yahoo are now enforcing that all outgoing mail has to be authenticated. (If using outlook, the
'My server requires authentication' must be ticked). This would explain why you have not been able to send out mail recently.
God knows if and how this can be configured on the t68. Nevertheless, it sounds like other people are still able to use it without any problem.
At least you folks have got this far!
I'm still getting server not found errors...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I can confirm that One-2-One (UK Based) does not support POP3 mail. Hence why I have not been able to access Yahoo or Vizzavi mail.
Kinda sucks.
In addition, they're planning go live of GPRS services, mid-year.
At least this is what they tell me. If you're on the one-2-one network, you could enquire by calling 879 (Their provisioning service).
This is so frustrating... It's like having a ferrari in a kiddies playground! You just can't harness the T68's strengths!!!!

Following my last mail... a cry out in depseration...
Has any UK one-2-one based person been able to connect into a POP mail account successfully ?
I always get confused between the data connect settings, the WAP settings and Email settings.
I've been using the default One-2-One CSD Service to access WAP Portals.
If I were to use any other provider could I then access my Yahoo POP3 service ?

All right guys, when I retrieve email through the phone, a long list of email stays in the inbox. And I can't delete em from the phone.
What do I do? It's just there and I can't get rid of em, so I have a constantly filled inbox, and even if it's not full. It has a long list of emails in it.

I have been reading up on some of the forums on retrieving e-mails from my T68 today and tried to give it a go. After much faffing around I got it to work, but like many other it would seem, I cannot send my e-mails, only receive them. Is there any way round this? Im on Vodafone in the UK by the way.....

Are you using a DATA account? The ususal account for WAP browsing is not meant to access Internet and therefore it says "Cannot connect to the server".

I am using a data account I think and I have no problems.
Btw, about deleting the list on my handphone. I can only mark for deletion, which means I lose the file in the server and I don't want that. I only want it off my phone so the list is free for more email.
