Yes we can all see that, and i'm sure we can figure out that's why it ended up there. The point of the thread is, how on earth did it get past quality control once it was done? Of all the things on a phone you would check it would be the keypad!

with the volumes that Nokia produce there is no way that each and every single phone can be checked.

Fortunately they have procedures for returns from retail outlets when such individual problems are discovered at point of sale and so customers rarely see such things... this seems to be that case here

Which is why the Carl Zeiss company is so good because they QA every lens they make.
