I had 3 different C902's that did it tried different firmwares, including generic, still made no difference.
It also seems it was completely random when it did it, shame as I still want another, but caused me so many problems.
fluke, what did you do in the end, did the network replace them or did Sony Ericsson? I don't know what to do here, I'm stuck with a phone that doesnt work properly!

I was tempted to send mine back to O2 but after reading this I don't fancy some monkey fingered "technician" to play around with it then send it back with the same fault. I guess we'll have to wait for a firmware update...

Dear XXX,
Thank you for your query regarding the Sony Ericsson C902.
I am very sorry to hear of the issues you have been experiencing with your Sony Ericsson handset.
I can advise that the problems you have described are not known issues. Unfortunately we are only able to comment on these issues once your handset has been examined by a Sony Ericsson engineer. Until this has happened we are unable to state why this fault has occurred.
As part of the Sony Ericsson warranty we do provide a free post service where an approved engineer will examine and repair any fault covered under the terms and conditions of the warranty. If the handset cannot be repaired due to manufacturing fault then we will provide a replacement unit.
To send your handset for repair please complete the attached repair form which includes the address to send your handset to. Place your handset in a Jiffy bag with a copy of your proof of purchase and send it via your Post Office obtaining a Proof of Postage receipt.
Please note that if the damage is not covered by the Sony Ericsson Limited Warranty, there is a fee of £10.00 + VAT to have your product returned should you not accept the estimated costs for repair.

sorry i am new to this forum and just wondered if the problem got resolved as my C902 in the last few days keeps turning itself off. In the past it would be every few months, but lately it seems to be every day, and we i turn it back on again it takes forever to load. The software version i am running is R3BA035.
I've read in a few post previous about SEUS, what does that mean??
