they keys arent exactly flat. i dont see how you can call them stupid either since you havent used the phone
and incase any one is wondering, the silvery bits are not the buttons. they are just seperators for each key.

looking at W705 in all angles...i can't see anything ugly about it. the only dilemma i guess is the location of the "C" button. when texting...your thumb would really have to "travel" quite a distance..
