With those who are saying Vodafone's signal is so much better than O2's. What we have to remember is that is true because Vodafone (as far as i remember/someone correct me if I am wrong) was the first original network in the UK and then came Celnet (BT Celnet) (which is now O2) (however statistics show that O2 have got 2nd best coverage in the UK). So that will be the case with Vodafone anyway. About the Iphone well whats so good about it? Well I guess that question is best asked in the thread of those user's who have got the Iphone. From my experience of having the Iphone to me it was the user interface of the iphone and the surfing that amazed me. But I am sure if that question is answered in the Iphone thread or by Iphone user's here they can tell you more about it

So far Vodafone have been fine and their coverage is solid. One thing i notice is how much clearer the call clarity is on Vodafone. Network reliability with internet seems great and with calls too. Only thing i miss with O2 is the pay and go tariff had one or two more benefits but thats all. I get Free Weekends Stop The Clock etc so its better for me as i call alot. Also the Favourite Place tariff on O2 was great BUT you are restricted to your postcode area. Your not with Vodafone. Any phones in future i will buy from Carphone on pre pay as their sim free and i wont have to go to Vodafone store with Vodafone branding.

^_^. This is the problem I have, O2 have the correct tarriff I need and as well as online services. Their support is great also, this is why I don't want to leave and I have been with them for about 4-5 years.

One thing i noticed before i left O2. Since they are gaining so many customers i noticed the customer service Q's were getting longer on hold. They gotta be careful it does not end up like Orange. The O2 bubble might burst under the strain. Its already showing on the network itself. Dont know why i go on about it anymore im really not bothered im happy with Vodafone.

Orange are great for Customer Service, although I have to ring them up every other day
No, I do ring them a lot, and to be truthful, as soon as you press 1 to be connected to a rep. you are connected to a rep, longest i ever waited was 30 secs

What number do you call them on?

The second last time I called them I had to wait 45 mins, not a million miles away from 30 secs, but noticed that their hold music loops after a few songs.
And the last time I called them it was picked up straight away (of course they would, it was the cancellation department)

I once had orange pay and go sim called them up at 8.30 in the morning. Was on the phone to them on hold trying to get through for 50 mins.

No. Orange USED to be great for customer service. I was with Orange in the early days and swore by no other network. I still think the network itself its great quality robust and reliable. But i stick with pay as you go and their tariff is poor value compared to the others. Oh and here is a record and its no lie. Last time i was with Orange i was on hold for 2 hours. I carried on doing what i was doing watching tv whilst on hold on speaker phone. Two hours past i hung up cos i still had not got through. That is no lie. I was appalled compared to how Orange USED to be. Sad really. Their network still has the clearest call quality and reliabilty i stand by that.

I know Orange on pay as you go do £5 per week unlimited browsing. Hardly competitive compared to O2 or T Mobile monthly ones for £7.50 is it? 3UK offers the best one at £5 for 3 giga byte. Orange do pay monthly one for £8 for 250 mb capped which is rubbish. Vodafone now do the upto £1 per day on pay as you go which is alright but using everyday can prove pricey.
