Remove your battery, on the sticker inside of your phone stands FCC ID and then a code. After that code is a combination of 2 digits a W and another 2 digits. e.g. 08w44, the first digits is the production year, the second pair of digits is the production week. My C905 has been produced in week 44 of 2008

That's clever, wish there was something like that on the iPhone. xD.
Thanks for that, useful if I ever get a C905 to look at.

Question. Is it worth me waiting to buy one of these. Has the speaker issue been resolved as yet or build quality issues. And whats call clarity like if the speaker is a bit crap.

@Bonovox
For a good answer to that you can read max_wedge's latest posts at the general C905 thread.

for the first...
SUCH A SMART PHONE COULD HAVE ANY KIND OF FOLDER PROTECTION.
INSTEAD OF THAT, U GAVE TO SOMEONE PHONE TO LOOK, AND IN MULTIMEDIA GALLERY POP UP EVERY F...n PIC OR VIDEO,
INCLUDING OF COURSE DIRTY ONE....
for the second
SUCH A SMART PHONE COULD HAVE ANY KIND PASSWORD PROTECTION WHEN IS FLASH MAMEMORY CARD ( at least 2 GB ) OUT THE PHONE....
If you know what I mean by that.... I'm having and still using some old USB flash drive with pass protection, so the one who finds it, could suck your finger with written informations....
Here, we have min. 2 GB, and only a pass protection for the phone, and it only mean U must type your pass when you switch it on....(and off course switch it off first )
Somebody will stole your phone, and we assume what will immediately happened,
He will need passport for phone, which is not hard to pass it, when you flash the phone, but every private thing in it will be destroy, and that's secure.
However, Flash Memory Card with some kind of 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 Gb, which is much, much bigger then the phone memory,
will stay unsecured, unhidden, visible to anyone who drop it in another phone device.
P.S.
IF YOU THINK THYT YOU WILL SOLVE THIS SITUATION WITH SOME KIND OF APP. FROM GOOGLE, RAPIDSHARE OR SOMETHIN'....
THERE'S NO LUCK. I HAVEN'T FIND ANYTHING YET....
MAYBE IT'LL BE APPEAR IN SOME TIME....FOR KNOW..... THERE IS NO SOLVE FOR THIS.
THUMBS DOWN TO SONYERICSSON TEAM FOR THAT.

@panonski
First of all, it's not a smartphone despite having WiFi and GPS up its sleeve.

I really don't bother how do you call it......
Old dummy Samsung have a protection for pics. Was that a smart phone?
Don't think so.... It's a real secure failure to me, and it is so easy to put it on phone in original software...

Had my C905 (silver, Orange UK) for about a month and a half now.
Only issues are a slight wobble (which doesn't really bother me) and having only got my GPS working once. That's quite annoying.
