Alcatel my god even the most skint person or kid would not buy an Alcatel. C702 is a decent phone its 150 on O2 though i think by now it should be much lower in price considering its only 3 mega pixel. I had a Nokia 5310. Nice sound but the camera and screen are rubbish and so is its reception. In my area i got full coverage on most networks but with the 5310 i was lucky to get 2 bars. Terrible phone in many respects.

Yeahh my stepbrother says the ariel in his 6301 is terrible, stupid really, they should put decent ariels in all phones. The K750 has a really good ariel IMO.

Well, it seems the one who made this thread is not active anymore. I guess he made his final decision...

Even though the guy is gone, this is still such a useful thread for many people. Posting links on GSMArena's review on the Nokia 5310 & SE T700.

Third link leads to the GSM arena comparison between the T700 and the K810. Was actually considering the latter when shopping for my secondary backup phone since it was cheap & my experience with the K800i was excellent.

GSMArena review on that phone here :

Yeahh nowadays you can actually get a decent phone for under 100 quid.

The comparison with the 5310 and W890 also made me think that the W890 is really good value at just £100. It's slim, made from metal, looks nice, 3.2 mp camera (although no af/flash), has a pretty good media player and is an SE which means it comes with the quirks like the activity menu and great UI.

Another good buy for people looking for 'a phone that's a phone' is the Nokia 6300 at just £50 from Carphonewarehouse. Unlike most phones <£50 it's not made from cheap materials (made from metal actually, well some of it) and has a good screen and easy to use.

Not sure where you're from but down here at the bottom of the world (bathed in sunshine) when an SE phone is unavailable, then SE have no intention of making it available. You'll need to source it via the Internet be forgo official support. Visit the New Zealanders Thread first post to see the massive (and growing) list of phones not officially available down here.

The K750 is a really good phone, classic but solid and you get a huge bang for your buck.

SE should still sell it. Rather than all the crap low end phones they make now.
