but only 1 screen has changed and 1st time i switch the phone on it tells me there is an errror in the ML file and it may not work
Any ideas why

what about "only 1 screen has changed"? i don't understand what you mean.. you have to copy all the 24 png's + menu.ml in tpa/preset/system/menu to change the icons from the menu.

this is the trick,
you should use modded center softkey hook after use modded menu.ml to remove that error message

@al3xxcit3 what i mean is the changes only effect 1 screen the menu screen, should it not change the icons for the other screens ie when i go into the media screen its still the original o2 with old icons, does this not change the same as your 6 screen shots ?
How do I change the menu hook to stop the error.
Sorry ive never done this before.

you say that only the 12 menu icons changed and nothing else. to change the media icons for example, you have to upload them to TPA/SYSTEM/ICONS. But if you have a branded firmware (O2) the might not work. You have to have the R1FA035 firmware.
P.S. If you have this firmware, but you don't have the ICONS folder in TPA/SYSTEM, create it.

Thank you I will try it later, the phone is o2 but my firmware is R1FA035 so hoping this will work as the media player is much nicer with your layout.
