i think can make a better name for themselves by giving enhancements to their existing phones than by making some cut / copy phones...

anyway t700 costs around 11,000 here in India and this will be much higher surely and when you got nokia 5530 and smartphones like htc touch viva selling for around 13K ....i dont know how many will prefer a t715

Interesting that this has Micro SD, and not M2, despite it being based on a W595. They have put in at least a little effort.

Are you sure there is no M2 support?
Has dropped this format?
I notice on the portfolio page, Satio, Aino, Naite and Yari are listed with MicroSD support but not with M2 - are these phones not compatible with M2 either or has just stopped mentioning the M2 support? I'm confused

No M2 support !!!! Oh no i'll have to go and buy some 8gb micro sd's. They're much cheaper than M2's. A whole £12 cheaper over here (8gb M2 £24.99, 8gb Micro sd £12.99) I think it's a good move by SF tbh. I quite like this one but i'm not sure there's much of a difference between this and my T700 to consider it as an upgrade. I personally don't bother with any high end SE phones anymore as they're too problematic so the mid range is where i look these day's. If the Satio gets a good report i'll consider that. Otherwise it'll be another top end of the T series handsets for me.

I am quite sure. I just saw some prototype photos and it said Micro SD on the side. No mention of M2.

So microSD is the new standard...? They should switch slowly with dual support like K850. Now they need to change the fastpost. Mini-usb ?

I have the phone right now and though it's nothing special, its a pretty nice stylish mid-range slider

How is build quality? and what about the slider?

Slider is good, though it's a bit stiff and leaves two minor scratches on the keyboard (though that could be because there is some extra layer of plastic on it or something in my unit). Build quality is fairly good, though the battery cover is a bit loose.
