Hi guyz.
I use to buy SE phones when they first come out. I believe that first phones at market are better constracted to attract ppl. (and thats why i pay them as they are golden) Thats why i hadn't any major prob with them (i think). (only in my k850, but never b.r.o.d., and a broken earpiece @ c905 after 9months of everyday use) Its true that i take a lot attention to them and keep them in great condition.

Never looked at it that way, but it's true!
K750 ; Only dirty Joystick after 2 years.
K850 ; Some restarts, Never BROD, no squeek.
Aino ; ??? we'll see about that.
And I'm not really carefull with them, always on.
Modded and heavy used.

Don't stress guys i am sure you won't be as unlucky as me. Perhaps its meant to be someone trying to tell me don't carry on this new contract with this phone. Just popped into Orange store in Bull Ring shopping centre Birmingham. I was just looking around and some woman came in complaining about her c905 lol. She was saying as i was over hearing on purpose that it would not charge and it kept turning itself off. I heard her say she only had it one month. You see SonyEricsson still have issues with these phones i am just hoping the new operating system on future phones is better.

I've just bought a C901 after hearing great things about its build quality and software stability, i hope i haven't made a mistake by buying another SE...

My c510 broke after 2 weeks when the buttons randomly stopped working and i couldn't switch it on. The paint on my G502 peeled off on the keypad after just 2 weeks.

Maybe i should have learnt my lesson from before.

I've just tried my old SE T300 and it still works, it even switched on and it hasn't been charged for about 3-4 years. I hope SE get back to making quality phones. I really hope my new C901 isn't another dud.

I've heard bad things about the c903 being a flimsy bit of crap too. Maybe they should just give up on making slide phones.

I never understood the fuss about SE build quality until I had my W902. As you can see from my signature, I've had quite a number of SE and Ericsson phones in my list. My W995 has impeccable build. But I understand your frustation as I too had such experience with W902, my first Walkman phone. I have lost count the number of times I had to send it for service with the loose back cover, non-responding keypad after a slight fall, m2 detection problems, photo saving problems, headset detection problem, display pressure marks while pressing softkeys and the list goes on. But I think I'm lucky enough to have had such problem in just one device out of the many. I was frustrated with my P990 for its lack of memory and memory leak issues but everything else about it just gave me fond memories. Bonovox, you're one unlucky dude because I think W995 is SE's most stable and well built phone from the current line up. I guess SE has got to do something about such random quality issues, but then again I guess that's also apparent in other manufacturers as well

Either that or you have just been unlucky.

Nevertheless, my G502 still looks rock solid after 6 month.

I am indeed but will wait a while and see how its reliability is from reading feedback on here. I have had lots reliable phones from them before and i also still love SonyEricsson but i am just so let down by what it supposed te be a premium product and one of their better products and i just get all faulty ones all from separate stores. I will tell you the first slide broke then the rest of them were so bad they felt not just slight wobble but like they were going to just fall off. The slightest thing i did with each replacement the slide was like rattling and like a bloody see saw and it made using the phone very annoying. I would press the camera key and with slight pressure the whole slide would move quite alot and the back cover would fall off if it was not for the kick stand. Then the camera was showing upside down pics on the last one. Just had enough.
