They say you should never put your face and eyes directly at a cats level looking right into their eyes. Our family learned they dont like it. My eldest niece Rhiannon when she was little she put her face right upto the cats very close and it went for her. It scratched her cheek
seen cats do it before. Its like your coming into their space they dont like it
