I got a problem with this HD Video is fine but its too noisy and the camera is freaking noisy i felt like this is worst than those low end phones K800i is better or even a standard camera phone, insane camera and the video so called "LED" light or flash does not do the job either

Im currently uploading some pics but all pics are grainy and soo noisy even HD VIDEO? where is the HD at a grainy noisy video. yeah its 1280x720 but its sucks, low camera quality. I thought if i'd go with SE its good because their camera line up is decent and really good,

Hi all - Can someone tell me please if they are using a 3.5" headset w/ mic other than the one that came with the phone? I've tried several and none work on my Vivaz, only the crappy one that came with the phone works.

I am on R2AK006

I use HPM-85 earphones with a simple 3.5" extension and work perfect.

It's in the second part of the cable but i can't use it with Vivaz.
Vivaz use internal mic. and HPM speaker

I modified the earphones coming with the Vivaz.
Actually I took my 5-years old HPM-70 which were still operational but the cable was very cracked by the sun.
Removed the buds and replaced the original ones.
It was very easy and fast, just needed a soldering machine.

Why use the Wotan server when the SE update service is free?

Also I see that some people are scared from updating (I am too, coz there is no way to choose the firmware version in the SE upgrade tool), why this is the case?

The Wotan server has some custom firmware versions which you can't get by using the Sony Ericsson Update Service.. If your phone was shipped with say the Asia Pacific language set and you wanted German, using SEUS won't change the language, but paying on Wotan for the German version will.

I've haven't seen a Vivaz up close yet, but other phones I've seen that use a 3.5mm jack have the special 4-wire jack for microphone, that is compatible with the 3-wire one that headphones that don't have a microphone have. See the wiki page for details:
