Hi!

I e-mailed the SE-Support here in germany and asked, if it is true, that there will be no further
updates for the Satio.

The answer:

Sehr geehrter .....,

Translation (well, as precise as I could )

Dear .....
Thank you very much for your question to the Sony Ericsson Contact Center.

The development of new updates for the Sony Ericsson Satio was not stopped.

A list of features changed within the several software-versions or an information about the release-date is not available for us and will not be published. Basically the changes address optimizations of the system. Noticeable changes or adding new funktions will not take place.

Translation: END

So......it seems as if there will be further updates (at least one) but without the "big one" we are all hoping for.
Well, eleminating the obvious faults would be a start...

Greetings

still we have to press them from behind, to make this crap phone king. Or maybe someone will port android it. That would be best. But the problem is it doenst support multi touch.
Kinetic scrolling is a MUST! and improved media search. But the #1 is the kinetic scrolling!
F**ing idiot SE support. Stick your products in your ass! The hell will buy another SE phone. Dumb company. WRITE YOUR OPINION ON THAT DEVELOPING CENTER GUYS, LET THEM KNOW WE ARE NOT HAPPY AT ALL. And i am not calmed by this childish answer that there will be an update but dont know when and it will be minor. FU SE! I'm done!

WTF, this line really troubled me. No noticable changes or new functions will be added to the new update. THEN WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY TAKING SO LONG TO UPDATE FOR!? Is the Satio development team just sitting back, watching porn and eating cheetos all day?

A small update only means some unnoticeable bug fixes. That's all SE would do from now on. I'd rather not update and go through the hacking procedure again if that's the case.
