D_G,EVERYTHING i download is to my laptop, then i have it on file ready to send to p800, this way i have an easy to fall back on copy.
With the restricted memory at the moment on the p800 i often remove stuff to make space, but i know i have a copy on PC.
I use an MSI BT key for the final download to the phone (nice & fast).

I dont tend to open these downloads on my PC, i just direct them to a shared file on desktop then send to p8 using drag & drop.
Somewhere on esato is a direct link to the trial download, it could be in "General" or "technical/software" section. about 2 weeks ago. i found the download link i used;

Did you read my post? There are dictionary applications written in Java, works on P800 well. There is also a translator avaible at the time.

DG, the Oxford set can be read by any MOBIPOCKET reader... (it is on their site) ... I say it's worth it if you write a lot, or read a lot of obscure literature. I just always like having a dictionary with me just for spell checks.

You have to download the Mobipocket reader (standard version is free, or you can purchase the pro version) then download the trial books on your PC, then sync the P800 with your PC and double click on the trial book, it'll be installed on your P800.

The best dictionary i found so far is called 'Advanced Dictionary'. it's a great tooling. I have not tried the Mobipocket one but this dictionary gives you more flexibility and cross-referencing function.
