Re YT streaming: there's nothing wrong with trying. But there is one thing that I can confirm: live streaming is not available. Ex: GMA7, ABS-CBN, etc.
Re phone as modem: I don't have a Microsoft Windows-based computer, so I can't confirm. However, a certain gean04 told me in this thread that the trick also works in Sun Broadband Wirless prepaid.
Update: smooth using built-in.
