Maybe there's no idea for me to write here since everyone already said everything but I must have something to do.

The W995 is a splendid phone except for the camera. Can't believe how bad SE could make an 8 mpix camera.
The Elm is almost a copy of the W995 but more stable. The losses are in screen size (0,4"= 1cm) and in mega pixel count but the pictures are much better with Elm.

Look at the detail in the Elm photo it's much better.
The big difference in these pictures are that the Elm is taken towards sunlight and the W995 along with the sun therefor the dark tree.

Elm

Thank for all opinions so far people

I am drawn to the w995, but whats the point of a phone with 8MP camera that is poor.

Looks like ELM, I hate decisions.

The only thing I really hate about the Elm is not really the 2.2 inch display. It's the fact that indoors the sensor makes it very dark & much darker than most screens go with their sensors but outside it's fine. Looking at the Elm pics full size it's clearly the best of the current crop along with Hazel which has bigger screen but same camera. The Hazel is another good option. Only real thing that's missing is the Xenon flash that's what makes me angry at for not releasing the c901 here in the UK That would have been a great seller like the k800i. Need I say more?

@Plank I see zero yellow tint in Elm pics. It happened once when I forgot to change my settings in Stratford on a sunny day it was on cloudy but on auto or daylight I see none. And that's with my glasses on Do you see yellow here in my shots? I know what you mean by a yellow tint but I no see it

@fluke
Nope, in fact, the C905 doesn't have an 8 mega-pixel camera, it's more like 7.9

Plank,i use glasses
This is why i can see purple fringing and smeared details from W995 camera on my 24" full hd led screen... (don't you use rgb led too?)
Can you show one picture that proof what you said?
W995 is a good phone with high quality music capabilities and performance.
The camera is the weak point on it.
Even your g'old C902 are better camera wise...

..and I was expecting this thread to stop at the first page

I have both, will take pics of the same scene/same lighting/same settings starting tomorrow (left my Elm at home today alas). Rainy season is here with a vengeance in Manila, so both phones should be able to show what they're capable of camwise.

(build quality-wise my W995 is superior to the Elm. the plastic & metal body casing are higher quality, no problem with my slide action either, WiFi reception is also stronger though GSM/3G/HSPA signal wise both phones seem to be on par)
