@Santana, yes WAV/MP3 can be assigned to callers numbers, so can photo`s, but beware all phones that offer this feature wont play the assigned tune if that caller withholds their number (same as their number or photo wont show on screen either if they withhold).

I thought the P800 could not use MP3 for ring tones? Just WAV.

ahem....a delivery report is triggered by the smsc mate not the mobile thats a fact. a delivery report saying delivered is coming from the recipients smsc, a delivery report saying failed is by in large from your smsc.
i know this as its my job to you and this stuff is absolute fact on the tmobile netowrk in uk, i will be open to suggestion that other networks employ diff methods but i massively doubt it

honestly i do not see what the fuss is about these text report things, I never use them - they irritate me.
A couple of mates use them and they say well my phone said that you got that message yesterday morning.... it proves nothing - i have a habbit of leaving my phone in silent mode when I get out of work, I put it down somewhere in the house and forget about it until I need it again - or I am about to go out.
They would be more useful if they where read reports.
Anyway, is it true that this phone has no T9?
If so, that is the reason I would be put off, I could not go back to standard input.

To get Delivery Reports on o2 you go to create SMS then *0# leave a blank afta that write ur message and there u go snd it. And u get ur reports, o2 told me this themselfs ages ago. Spread the word around lol cu

Hey br0, completely right... BUT!!! Delivered (at least in our network, Oskar, Czech Republic) means the SMS reached the recipient, and the recipient means the number you were sending it to!!! I am working in GSM, too, and I asked my SMSC-buddy, to be sure! He prove my "knowledge" about it! It MEANS the SMS reached the number you sent it to!!!
