Had a play with a Desire HD today in a 3UK store. Gorgeous device but they seem to be out of stock everywhere at the moment

I can get one now but I cannot find stock

Seems networks only want to give them away with cpntracts
To not sell them directly as handset onlys lol

In store at Phones 4U they will, they even have them at sim free price on display. Everywhere else either doesnt have them or like Carphone Warehouse are £50 more expensive.

I think it just goes into some sort of sleep or hibernation mode cos once battery is removed boot up is not as fast

Really are you 100% on that? lol
reason I say is that when the Wildfire came out they had it instore on the label for £179.99
or so was the Sim free price when I went to buy it they told me alot of crap!
oh madam it was the last one instore and someone had rang up for it yeah right!
you have to watch them be warned

Just got a HTC Desire HD this morning on T Mobile contract. Paid £69 for the handset from Carphone with £35 per month 1200 free mins unlimited texts and unlimited web. Very happy man will report back later on
