If I had an android phone, I'd be getting one. Calendar alerts, train departure boards and time based stuff, this would be useful. Because it supports apps it should end up being useful.

I'm sure it will because A2DP and other headset protocols are different protocols than track changing protocols. And protocols on this device will be different as well.
I once managed to pare two headsets and listen to from one and change track from the other

Thanks, that sounds great. it will be an awesome gadget and push for me to get out more and exercise
(still does not solve the problem where to keep the phone while you are running
)

That is exactly what I mean. If this gagdet was like iPod Nano 6 it would be sell like hell.
There should be androdi running receivers and TVs as well. Then who needs a remote controller when you have this gagdet

Managing the system with this device will be awsome as well

Price will be crucial. Stylingwise, it looks like a toy so it's hard to see it being able to compete with a premium watch when the BT watches couldn't. I always wanted a
BT watch but at NZ$600 it was way too expensive. Just got a nice watch in stainless steel with carbon-fibre faceplate for NZ$395.

Recommended retail price in Germany is 79 €, which is about 145 NZ$.
