Well when you turn on do not disturb, it will automatically silent all notifications, calls etc. But you can select people from whom it will still ring.
Go to notifications, there you can put up a schedule, allow calls from certain contacts(by default it allows favorites, and most probably your land line is in favorites) and also change the option of "repeated calls". That is for ex, if someone keeps calling you then your phone will eventually ring instead of being silent. I think this is a nice option if there is an emergency and some on calls you up. But not a good option if you have an overly attached girl friend

What on earth!??? No way am i updating the iOS devices then.
Why the hell did Apple go with TomTom??? Couldnt they partner up with Garmin? I gave TomTom a chance in both Durban and Cape Town last year, in BOTH cities the TomTom Navigator did one of 3 annoying things:
-Gave us the longest route (even if it had a dirt road)
-Gave us directions to the wrong place
-OR it just didn't know major places
My Xperia X10 at the time with GMaps did a far better job and so did the 4yrld Garmin Navigator we had.
Hope Apple fixes this ASAP.

17 People Apple Maps Has Already Horribly Misled

Think we are beginning to see some cracks forming since the loss of Steve Jobs as something like this wouldn't have been released under his leadership.
These are issues i read about a month or so ago when the iOS Developers had iOS6 in testing, thought they would've sorted all of this out by release time.

I've been following this story throughout the day and it's worse than they think.
Businesses have built up a very valuable 'presence' on GMaps for years, spending time and effort making sure they are easily found on mobile devices, with many reviews attached to their business's location.

For those on a Mac as well, 10.8.2 was available as of last night as well!
Not for me ... I'm still on a PPC PM G5 2.0Ghz Late 2005 typing this now.
No issues with esato.com loading on iOS IP4/iPad2 on v6.
