I wouldnt ask you to. I respect your choice.
I dont think Apple should ever stop making phones, if they play along with the other manufacturers nicely theres no reason why they cant all take a piece of the market.
As a consumer i want choice. But if Apple want me to not have a choice they shouldnt expect me to buy into their products.
No-One would be none the wiser if we didn't have Spys either letting us know what these companys got
upto, nothing surprises me anyway

I doubt it. The part of Samsung who makes chips for Apple and other companies is far from the same thing as the part which competes in the mobile industry.
Its like saying Tesco will give you a bad deal on car insurance if you dont buy from their supermarkets.
They're two seperate businesses under the same company name.

there is a tweak available that lets you switch of the metro theme and get back the traditional windows desktop with a start button
i guess Microsoft purposely left it out to force people to get used to the tiles, now they are just as stubborn and controlling as Apple!

@Miss UK you can use WP8 with a mouse easily. I have used it and you can revert to old start screen too. I really loved using W8 on touch display it was a pleasure to use
