ZL has 1700 band! I wonder if it will be released through US Tmobile?
I will sell my Nexus 4 for this.

I was thrilled to see that. Its capable of US LTE too, only if Tmobile release their LTE by now.

Tmobile may release LTE soon, in 3 to 4 months, when iPhones are out on Tmobile.
If Tmobile does release this phone, please hurry, before Tmobile stops its subsidiaries on contracted phones (also in 3 to 4 months).

The ZL has a sealed 2,370 mAh unit, which is a tad bigger than the one in the Z, Xperia Z uses a 2330 mAh battery pack.
If the ZL has a larger battery, why is the talk time rated at 10h compared to 11h on Z?

Got to check out both phones today, a quick impression is
Xperia z - looks more premium over the zl
-Feels like holding a larger iPhone 5 because no curvature on the front and back.
-finger print magnet
Xperia zl - thin bezel
-noticeably heavier than the z
-The curve back makes it easier to hold in hand
- black has a rough shape pattern
-White is regular plastic and feels like the one on my Xperia t.
Overall I like the zl more, beside the weight. I compared it to my Xperia t and the dimensions was not much of a difference.
