Daz,
Where've you managed to get it from that has stock in the next two days? I've got one on order from smalltalk now, but none of the sites I've seen have stock currently.

Really strugle to understand what people have got against Orange. Was previously on Voda and finding Orange much better plus the wife is on Orange so calls will be cheaper for me.
Combination of Sub £300 price with xnet tariff & unlimited wap(fair use) plus 60 text appears to be a bloody good deal for a new phone.
I have no regrets and bought on the Friday Orange released it (First in Sheffield

)
Doesn't seem that long ago that people were happy to pay £800 for imports!

I agree I was with Vodafone for years.
I find Orange to be better.
Little things like the text message when you have voicemail I really like.
With Voadfone my phone used to ring me back till I answered it very annoying. I got a reminder at 3 in the morning once. (maybe I didn't have my phone set up correctly).
I find Orange customer service to be really polite.
The other day I was told 'have a really nice day'
martin Dawes, singlepoint etc always made me feel like another 'number' (never liked that middleman rubbish of service providers)
also like the free 0800 phone calls with Orange, always hated having to pay with Vodafone
Line 2 (not yet available for P800) looks really good feature too.
With Vodafone can only check your 'free mins remaining' on internet if Vodafone are your service provide (I think this is true) also cant check bill on internet
I can check 'free minutes remaining' by pressing 150 and can check on internet too
I think this is a really important feature.
I'm sure there a lots of people that will shoot me down in flames with Orange horror stories, but these are just my own experiences.
Overall made up with Orange

Just one tip for Vodafone users and voice mail text messages, you dont have to have voice mail calling you every minute to tell you have a new message, just change the delivery notification through the options when you dial your voice mail. You can select text message alert!

@dazbradbury, Alot of people are aware that by getting it on orange high monthly cost plans with a small initial payment for the phone, then knocking back the contract after 4 months (thats when you loose all those free minutes) down to the lowest one. does indeed work out at £370 & an unlock adds another £30.
BUT some people have had the phone turn up from these online Orange dealers without a duo, which turned out not to be included in the deal, other people have found it very hard to get the stepdown after 4 months & often your tricked into paying it for 5 months because notice wasnt recieved in writing on the correct date adding another £50 payment.
AND often a high (£50) old phone trade in is offered in the high street, & it is nice to deal with a shop person if you have a problem with a warrany matter.
So the extra money can sometimes be justified, better to just put up the link, explain how to get it cheap & let people decide themselves

if you all wait till next week, when you can buy the fone from a vodafone retail store, and pay £50 and spread payment of the phone (p800) £25 a month on your bill. also may get 6 months half price line rental. on v200 and above. bargin if you ask me.
