I prefer the look of the T68, it has more a chrome look and rugged feel, T68i looks like a load of plastic and I don't really like the cover. The only good thing about it are the features.

The stylings of the T68i are quite appealing, but overall i prefer my T68. The convex - or is that concave - earpiece looks much nicer and the rubberised rear is definitely better than a plain plastic one.
Although my buttons do feel a bit plasticy.

I think that if the T68i would have been released before the T68m, I maybe would have bought it.
But then I would get really pissed when a new-released T68m would show up, and look a lot more flashy than my T68i, with new a keypad, and with fading white/orange background-lights, chrome yes/no-buttons, nice silver (or gold) metallic-somthing framing the display, much nicer design on the speaker-outlets, and with a rubbery backside.

My brother used to tease me that my gold T68m was a pimp's phone!
Now I've passed it down to my good lady wife, I see that it's not a bling blinng pimp phone, but rather an elegant Lady's phone!!
She loves it (so she let me get the P800, bless her!).
