, larger, heavier and uglier. The kids doesn't care about stylus, currency converters or Outlook sync. They want a cool little phone with color screen, MP3 and camera.
However, I don't hink this phone will be much of a success if it never makes it to the usual phone stores (I read somewhere that they will only sell it trough their own web shop). If it makes it to the stores soon in large quantities, they invest in good advertising and it meets the expectations, then we're on the right track.

welll i love my p800... however probably i will get neonode1 because of development needs... instead of paying 400$ for metroworks C++ coding tolls (i need emulator) i would rather buy neonode and develop with my current tools.... (forget java bullshit i need direct access to some subsystem components)

VERY pro P800 ppl in here, but what can you expect from this site that is a forum for SE boys/girls. The N1 actually have more programs to get from the internett out-of-the-boks thanks to its M$ OS as you call it.
The biggest thing for me with the N1, is that its external mem is on SD cards. Not only are they half the price of Sony's Stick, but you can get loads of functions on them. WLan on SD cards are on the way, Bluetooth, modem etc etc etc. It has accessories that the P800 can dream about thanks to its SDIO support. A shame the P800 doesn't have it, Sony just have to push their own Stick on this one

. If they only had gone with SD, the P800 would have been perfect.
An other big selling point for the N1 is the size. I know you guys have payed ALOT for the P800 and will defend it at all costs, but everyone else still think its big. Even the Siemens SX1 that is to come ppl complain about the size.
Well that my rant for today, I just think ppl in here can be to one sided when it comes to discuss other phones than SE's. I own the T68 atm, and love it. The P800 is imo too much money for too little, so now I'm waiting to see how the SX1 and N1 is going to be before I buy a new phone. T610 has too little mem

Although I love my p800...
The features seem almost to good to be true...
It's tiny... It has sd cards, and USB!!!!!
Let's face it. The p800 has a big problem with reading from and writing to it's memory. By problem I mean it's slow. According to the specs of the N1 it can read from it's sd card at 2mb/s...
This is a huge advantage!
I'm no longer quite as certain buying the p800 was a good idea compared to this...
I guess I'm better of with service and such but... I don't know.
