I wasn't requesting information. I was passing on information. Information I possess that says (a) that at the end of March Lars from Nextlink told me in an email there would be no beta testing of Bluespoon digital and (b) there have been delays with Bluespoon digital that are excessive and frustrating to customers who have placed orders.
Both of those are FACTS that I was passing on to other users of this forum.

Now, if Bengalboy wants to deny those facts with his patronising replies, fine. But I haven't any time to accept any bull from anyone. Even someone as self important as Bengalboy seems to think he is.
mr beeb, im one of the beta tester of the digi-bluespoon, and i would like to tell you that you are so wrong, in fact ther is a 23 of us "beta tester" and we should be getting them by next week, and i think you need to go back and read the thread that bengalboy linked. and to prove you wrong, this an email i got my self from nextlink about the shipping of my digi-bluespoon .

Nextlink has agreed to send out 25 beta test units to 23 users of HowardForums. If you received a mail in March from Nextink, then gusee what, they changed their mind. It happens.
Mark (aka Bengal Boy) has a well respected history at Howard Forums of providing helpful information and product information. His thread on the Digital BlueSpoon has had over 15 thousand views and over 500 replies including several from Lar and Jan at Nextlink.
If as you originally posted, you are interested in finding out where things stand with Digital, BengalBoy's posts are the best available information at this time.
As one of 23 testers who will get the Digital Bluespoon next week, I have put my money behind my words.

I don't see the conflict here, other than tone. As said above, obviously Lars *did* change his mind since I'm one of the "23" and have copies of the invoice to support that. Has the existence of this beta been argued other than the fact that Lars said to someone that there won't be a test? It's easy to see how both could be true. Certainly the fact that there *is* a test, is. (Does that sound too much like Clinton?)
As for the disappointment re: the delays. Of that I have no doubt. Some of us "testers" were getting, well -- a little testy about the delays, too.
So why not just accept everyone's "truth." That Lars wrote the "there will be no testers" email and that there *are* testers now and that a lot of people are dicappointed. I don't think self-importance is what Mark's posts were about -- just providing updates.
I provide the same advice to forum readers here that I did elsewhere regarding the new Bluespoon -- stick it in your ear!

U got you info at the end of march and it is now mid May. Why dont you email Lars and find out what he has to say. There is a possibility (how ever remote you might think it is) that he changed his mind. I agree this could be an elaborate hoax and that either one person is playing 25 odd people or that all of us are in on this hoax together. Either way the best way for you to get upto date info is to email Lars, Jan or Pernille at Nextlink. That should help clarify whatever doubts you may have.
Mark dont waste your time with this guy u need ur rest. We will all be harassing u from monday
I think Mr.Beep is just pissed that he didnt get in on the betatest and is hoping that this is all a hoax.

Mark, arranged for 25 beta testers and, you can see from his posts on Howard Forums that he has replies from Lars and Jan. Jan is a moderator here, you don't you check with him. Mark is a respected and helpful contributor on HF. All I see from you sour grapes because you don't have what Mark has and you are trying to prove him wrong with your out dated info. When they are released for the general public you can pretend you are a beta tester and as Larry said you can stick it in your ear then. Good luck in getting one in a few weeks.

I didn't read this thread from the first page...Shame on you Mr. Beeb. Jan replied and said that Mark will get his on Monday. You still doubt that he'll get a beta unit. Now I know for sure its sour grapes...LOL

Bengalboy does not have a monopoly on information - no matter how "respected" he is. If he is that respected why does he resort to rudeness, insults, and childish behaviour when people add their information to this forum that may not be compatible with his?
Despite the great lengths Bengalboy has gone to with his extensive quotes (boring) and his rudeness and bad manners (notice I don't sink to his infantile level of insults) I have never denied there are 23 beta testers, or that he is one of "privilaged" few. I don't deny that Lars may have changed his mind about beta testers either.
I don't need to be challenged by Bengalboy to buy a Bluespoon Digital on Monday either. As I have posted on this forum previously, Nextlink's supplier has told me I wont get my order till JUNE, I accept that though I'm disappointed.
All I have been doing in this forum has been expressing surprise that beta testers existed, passing on information, and expressing frustation at excessive delays.
Who has been the most combatative and antagonistic I'll leave those with common sense to judge. But I certainly haven't launched a tirade of foul mouthed insults like Bengalboy has.
This forum is for the free exchange of information, or does Bengalboy want to run it like a communist polit bureau?
