Im sorry but the NEC 3G phones look so nasty and cheap. The buttons on the one with the huge colour screen make this cheap noise when pressed and I think every1 has actually lost the point a bit...how comes their talk time is max 90m? WTF r u gonna do with a phone, that u may tink looks like the dogs bolloks and is super fast with streaming video calls (if ur likely to have a rich friend that actualy buys one too), but that u can only talk for 1hr 30m??!!
1 of my main reasons fo buying the T68i was its stated 13hr talk time (yea rite wot a joke). Im my previous experience, pre colour screens, it seemed that Nokias did last a long time on standby and I had a Panasonic G somethin or the other..the 1st one on Vodafone PAYG and I had a battery that lasted 7 days and at least 4hrs talk time solid.
Shame that with all this Jazz about Bluetooth and Colour screens, no1 seems to be looking at technology that would supply satisfactory energy requirements for these phones.

First the Neonode and a whole host of these new smartphones...
Come on guys, where is the Neonode? There were hords of news on it and then the expected delays and now... no news...
It is one thing to introduce a product and another see it actually hitting the market...
So far, P800 promises and releases...
Just hoping for future SE smartphone to be smaller and more ergonomic; like this prototype:

indianbwoy > you'll find that for the 3g phones, the 90min talk time is for video calls. The talk time is much longer for just voice calls.
And what do you expect anyway? new technology is bound to have limitations at the mo. Needs to be developed to improve it. The NEC 3g phones are setting standards for others to beat....

as a matter of fact, there is a a video player in my P800
if urs doesnt, u shld hv it checked out
second, a CDMA phone will never be any GSM phone's executionner
hell, I'd take a 5110 over dat garbage
at least I can use my SIM card!
like I said, it lacks too many options that r now standards such as BT!
I dont care how good of a phone is, if dont got BT, it's trash (unless it can inslave the universe
)

Can't agree more to Johnykouboulis.
I said it before, I 'll say it again.
The war is between Sonyericsson and Nokia.
All the others are just playing around.
A very good phone, next to p800, is nokia 6600.Is not a pda, but i personally don't like them.
