Hi Mith500,

I am considering getting one from Vodafone, but I am a bit concerned about the branding.

Could you post some pics of the menu/icons/casing, so I can see the difference between a voda one and a normal SE T610.

My local retail shop, wont let me play with the phone before i buy it.

Thanks

M

Just got back from picking up a T610 from the Vodafone shop in Canary Wharf, they even had a demo phone you could try. The phone has got the Vodafone Live branding which I can live with. I got it for £29 for being a loyal customer! Photos/first impressions etc to follow....

Thanks for the link mith500.

I can see what people mean about the menu/icons. I wouldnt say its ugly, but its definitely not as good as the SE menu.

Damn, I might have to wait until the originals are available in the UK or get one from outside UK now!

Oh well!

Cheers

I've no idea who has them on the PAYT deal, all I know is that they are available from today on contract (voda/live).

I'll ask about the PAYT and let you know.

The Vodaphone shop in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire has 12 in stock today (wednesday - at lunchtime).

£129.99 on Contract, or £29.99 on the £30 pm contract, which apparently you can change after a month.

Had a good play with one during my lunch hour.
I don't like the Vodaphone branding, 2 logos on phone casing and all the menus/icons are different.

I'll wait for one on O2 or SIM-free.

Everytime I speak to phones 4 u they tell it'll be out in 3+ months and then try to sell me a Nokia! I hate them and would never buy so much as a paper off them!!
