Most important is that there is continuity in apps and platforms (Symbian UIQ etc.) for a certain time. They wont change a winning team, right?
It's like in the PalmOS world. New devices - still the apps rule, not the hardware as such!
Again - time for more developers to come out with cool new tools for UIQ - whether P800 or 810 I dont care so much...

I'm making a few assumptions but the P810 will prob have UIQ2.1, and this means that software won't be a problem. From what I gather, software produced for UIQ will work on any UIQ device, including that huge 3G Motorola. If the P810 has video recording built in then that would be the only thing that might not continue to be produced but by then there should already be a couple of Video Recording apps.

personnally, I think the UIQ 2.0 thing will be integrated in the P810
and if it loox the exact same thing, I wont buy it

I'm always the sucker for New gadgets, in the past years I have spent a fortune on the highest spec phones from Nokia 9110, 9210, O2 XDA and now the P800.
I have to say there is nothing that matches the P800 on the market at this time, and if the P810 is as described, then SE have shown again how to lead the way.
Boy don't i hate Nokias now...
BTW do you know how much battery a flash would take? i bet it would eat the life up!

i don't think a firmware update like the T68m/i will be available for the P800/810... since the 800 has a 4k screen and the 810 has a 65k screen, they have diff. hardware? (assuming it won't be possible to update it)
