went to the shop on aungier street today. they are pretty helpful, but their repair prices seem pretty hefty. the shop is called tecknofone and is open every day from 10 to half past six and from noon to 5 saturdays and sundays.
there is another shop in temple bar d2 on anglesea street. its actually a cybercafe but it advertises mobile phone repairs.
another one is on the market street, moore street i think off henry street dublin 1.

my local CPW still hasn't a clue about SE ...the O2 shop has some P800's allegedly ! ...but at a phenomenal price ..when I mentioned the P900 ...they seemed to become overloaded ...mind you I had just asked about the XDA mk2, and they hadn't a clue about that either. they must all want to hidebwhen they see me coming, probably think I'm a spy from head office ! as I leave i'm sure i can hear them whimpering; "..they only taught us about nokias in training !*!##* !!

thinking about it, neither vodafone, 02 nor meteor sell SE phones. if u want those, u have to get them simfree from some dodgy shops.
meteor does sell the t68i. hallelujah ud say, but then, its more expensive than the t610 sim free...(from dodgy shops)

You can by SE phones direct from the Sony Ericsson EShop, they ship to Ireland for GBP2 - 3 more on the postage. The T610 is currently GBP250 from them.

Hi Guys.... Finally there are some Irish on the forum. I joined over a year ago and I think there was only three of us on the site at the time. How things have changed
I am proud to say that I've never owned a NOkia.. And I own an unlocked T68i for the last year.
I think some of the reasons that NOkia have such a large share of the Irish market is because all these poly, java games and pictures that you download from sites will mostly only work on NOkia phones. Most don't work on other makes of phones.
As for servicing and repairs. Try the MPRC in Sandyford 01 2950907. I've had the firmware upgraded there several times and had no problem. Even had the volume slider fixed. But my warrantity is up so from now on it cost's €25 for an upgrade.
