I think this new SE phone will have a wider screen (that's what I was told at the start of this year anyway) sporting a 240 width over the current 204.
A lot of refinements were added as well... I see a rubber cover for the earphone connector... and a proper stylus holder at the back, not this flat piece of _____ that we have right now. I also see hard-wired keys which will make the screen last a lot longer...and still allow the phone to be used in case of touch-screen failure.
I also noticed a re-designed scroll wheel bump..much farther from teh wheel to allow easier 'towards' movement. The earpiece section has also been moved farther forward to protect the screen in a face down position... doing this has also allowed thinner/flatter side frames giving the phone a slimmer look over the current P800... this might also give it the same width dimensions despite the wider screen.
It seems as though SE was actually listening (for once!) to a lot of
VALID suggestions on the P800.
Over-all I will be upgrading to this model. My P800 is still under warranty, and has never fallen... box is still intact and all contents complete... I will be selling off my P800 in a couple of months to prepare for the P810/900. That's just the way of technology goes!
I'm glad the upgrade is almost out. My P800 has served me very well...and continues to do so... The most fun I've had is the Solun Star charts which I use to track the Mars phenomenon recently
I love my P800... and it's spirit will live on in my upcoming P810...in the form of a 'restore' point

This is actually the longest any mobile phone has been with me (9 months) ... so I have to say, the P800 is a great phone. For myself, all current owners, all future P800 owners, and to whomever I will end up selling my P800 to as well!

Does anyone have the specs on the P810? (Dimensions/Weight etc)
I saw them once on the Orange France website, but never got a chance to take a note of them (as the page was removed pretty promptly!)
Did anyone else?

Should be very good if the person that bought that prototype could take out the camcoder file from it and give it to us, we need that preciuos app.

Thanks in advance.

The CamCoder program this is "available" at the moment is very raw as it is only a beta. What he's saying is that it would be good if we could get the CommuniCorder program from the P810 on our P800s.
And I've now seen the pics over at My-Symbian.

i think it could happen if the difference between the p800 and p810/900 is so little. and it would be pretty stupid of SE to make the p810 non-backwards compatible as it would mean developers need another SDK and to learn how to use it. and it would also mean current programs would not be updated as much if at all and there would be little to no software for the launch of the p810. so based on wot i think they should be compatible and as we r all waiting for another firmware update...
