is there a way to configure all the joystick shortcuts? i know that position 1 is left and 4 is the down..logically 3 will be up and 2 will be right. but the last two arent working..any ideas?

This is how to make some improvements in you calls-list:
First, make sure your calls-list is full (30 numbers), and has a mixture of both called, miss and recieved calls.
Then, pick any number from the calls-list, and choose "edit before dialing" (or whatever it says, I have swedish language).
Now, remove all digits by pressing C. Then press and hold 0 to get a + and then dial.
Your phone will now dial, but it won't work and it will hang up after a while. Now, if it has worked, you will have an empty entry at the bottom of your calls-list.
This gives the following changes:
1. The first number on the list will be the last call, and not the last MADE call (or whatever it was) as it was before.
2. If your friend calls you, let's say twice one day, both calls will be shown, instead of only the latest.
If you want to remove these features, just remove the empty post at the bottom of the calls-list.
Did that call list modification yesterday, but now want it to return back to normal (girlfriend calling me many times a day = only her name being shown in call list).
I tried deleting the empty entry at the bottom of the call list, but get a "Failed" message and tone when trying.
Is there any other way to get rid of this empty entry and get the call list back to normal?

Since the WAP profile you are using is locked the 'Set as homepage...' is not enabled. To get around this you need to create another WAP profile that is essentially a copy of the one T-Mobile locked in the phone (search the forums for rewuired settings for you area). This new profile will now be editable by you and with that the homepage change will also be allowed.

Hey dude to restore the call list option first try to delete that empty slot at the last of the calls list. If that does nbot work then go to menu - calls - options - clear call list. This will erase all your phone memory and now u will get normal phone book like earlier.

additional Tricks for the Camera Mode:
It was said already that during camera mode...
when u press joystick up it increases the exposure level of the camera
and when pressed down it decreases it...
I have found also that when you press the joystick to the right it increases the color saturation and to the left it decreases it...
hope this ads to your tricks...

How do I enter the engineering code everyone is talking about? I thought I was supposed to dso that when I'm at the main screen but if I use the 'joystick' at the main screen I only activate different shortcuts.
What am I doing wrong?
