Find the post you want to cross-reference, click on the user's 'profile' link (at the bottom of their post), find the post in the list of his/her posts on the forum, click on the link to it, and then copy the link in your post (phew!).
The specific link info is given as, e.g:

I understand why "use the search" has to be emphasised cuz it is really annoying for you hardcore forum users to see the same question posting over and over again~ It's ok if we dont have time to read all posts (I dont think anyone will) to find answer, the search feature is there for that purpose~
