How come SE doesn't design phones like those to be marketed in the rest of the world? Why only market it in Japan? IMO it looks very nice!

Why do they get them first?
We were a year behind with internal-camera phones (introduced much earlier there). Again we are a year behind almost cos the SO505(aaight, Ali G style) almost is a year old.
The first manufacturer which doesn't do that will sell like hell.. but then the others will think of the same!
What do you think of it?

Seeing the A5404S, it brought up in my mind an issue that I've thinking about in the past. Unfortunately, I'm afraid it's now really start happening:
The design of the SonyEricsson phones starts moving over to the Asian style of design (and when I say Asian, I mean mostly the Japanese style). T610 might have been the last phone that had some of the good old Ericsson spirit (aka. European design). The next breed of SonyEricsson phones got almost a 100% Asian look, starting with their new clamshell type of phones Z200, Z600, Z1010, and going on to P900.
I mean, don't get me wrong - Technologically they might be advancing and becoming more efficient. But tell me all of you the truth - Don't you give at least SOME attention to the mobile's looks when you're making your choice? Of course you do. Well, the variety of choice might not be so wide in the near future, when judging from the above mentioned SE phones. Besides that they look very much alike each other, when opening them, they don't look much different than the rest of the competative Asian brands/clamshell phones (ex. Panasonic, Sharp, Samsung)
In my opinion this is a very poor choice made by SonyEricsson. Because that type of looks was also applied on Sony's older phones, and besides Asia, it was surely a failure in all the other markets in the world (ex. their old Z series).
Japanese people are proud of themselves and their likes/style in products, and of course they should continue being. But the fact that SE is killing that different, stylish, extraordinary and esthetically superior design of their past mobiles, it will only make it worse for themselves (and us faithful SE fans!). Their phones will simply stop being 'that something little extra'...
PS. One solution to this would be if the have two different design lines in their products. An Asian/Sony kind and an European/Swedish/Ericsson kind...
PS.2 I know that mobiles such a A5404S will come out in the Asian market, but I got the same problem with the new ones comming out in Europe (and the rest of the world)
PS:3 Ericsson/SonyEricsson - I've always supported ya - Don't let me down!...

It's beautiful.
It has a lot of the elements of the P900. It looks like this is the way at least a part of SE4s line is going to look.
