@hrcs
somehow its cheaper there, if you compare prices of authorized dealers here and there. 4 example, 20k ata un T610 sa semicon ngayn, dba!? while dun 1140dhs(pumapatak sa 17100k) sya sa aptec.

@teg

I'm a banker! You know when I bought my P800, I almost converted it into installment thru my credit card (1 to 2 years of monthly payments). Good thing I didn't. Wouldn't dare do the same with the P900 because a new unit might just come out pretty soon.

@hrcs

There's a similarity between Greenhills and Dubai... maraming muslim (no offense meant). Maybe they get their supplies there...

Dubai has lower import taxes than we do.. that could probably account for the slightly lower prices.

There are 2 ways for the P900 price to go... either higher or lower than the P800... higher... since it's a new model... dealers/sellers might take advantage of the high demand while they can.

Lower due to the fact that other than the screen, the internal components are the same as the P800s... thus manufacturing is actually cheaper now than it was when the P800 first came out (totally new product with unique features) ... so SE can just use the same suppliers, manufacturing plants, no need for retraining of assembly personel. The only things they changed were the case, and the screen. Everything else was done on the software side (I have yet to hear any confirmation about the rumored 2nd CPU)

Realistic expectations for the P900 price should be... P42K OR P37K ... I'm betting on P42K for the first month.

ngeks. mga $600 yung nakita kong price range ng P800 dun sa isang review na nabasa ko pero tingnan mo kung magkano dito. LOL.

@jomni: aba. LOL but your right though, SE will most likely a real P800 successor in the coming months. I'm still a bit sore that SE released the P900 so soon.
