Why do people compare a phone that has been available since May this year (T610) with a phone that will be available next year (Nokia 6230)? Kind of pointless. I'm pretty sure that SE has some new neat stuff for next year.

We're not. SE are releasing the T630 at the same time as the Nokia, and the Nokia is far superior.

Let's try them out be4 we judge. i agree the specs list is superior, but what about usability? let's play with them first shall we?

as if SE phones do not have problems like nokia's. SE phones are much more problematic than nokia phones and one thing prevalent in SE phones is the crappy fluctuating RF.

Yes, but the T630 is hardly SE's new top of the line phone for next year, it's just an evolution of the T610. You better wait until the new SE phones are announced before comparing.
Regarding fluctating RF. The reason the signal bar is fluctating more on SE bars has nothing to do about reception quality. It has to do about how often the phone updates the signal bars... ie checks the signal strength. The SE phones does this more often than Nokias.

About the fluctuating RF:
Many people says that T610 RF fluctues very much. That's normal on ANY phone. There is a big difference in the RF if you put your hand around the antenna of the phone or you leave it free of interference.
So... the main difference between SE phones and Nokia (eg) is that the RF bars are refreshed faster. With nokia, you get a mean value of the last minute (or something similar, it's an example), but with SE you get a more instant value. People is not used to it, so they think that RF is fluctuating.
Remember that the RF bars are not TRUE measure of the RF reception. You can't compare the reception of two phones only with the bars. There brands that are more pesymisthic (the bars decrease rapidly, but you can talk with almost 0 bars) and optimistic (you have many bars quicly, but you need half the bars to talk).
The RF signal fluctuates in ALL the phones, but in some you don't see it, it's the only point. If you don't believe try moving your radio antenna in your house... you'll hear the fluctuation

But you don't know that. The new T630 is still quite a feature packed phone, and it's certainly acceptable for the majority of users. In truth there is no real reason for SE to release a more advanced phone anytime soon, especially when they've probably figured out there current phone is selling well.
I do however imagine the T630 is only there to pass the time for their next big phone, but by them releasing a phone inbetween sort of says that they won't be releasing another phone in this band for quite a while, maybe the third quarter of next year.
