what about making a site which has both the web and wap sites.. this way, it could definitely be used by different mediums!

some site name suggestions: (not sure if they are still available)

espx (esato and pX00 - derived from espn)
besato (best place for esato members)
eSEPecial (esato SE Pseries special site)
esdf (esato discussion forum page - derived from "asdf")

your additional suggestions will be more than welcome..

No it's not enough we had that to but they said that we created the environment to do it. What you can do is that members upload their files to the administrators of the website and that they will approve or not approve their files to upload, you have to remind that that is going to be a though job to do.
But sometimes people don't come for the downloads, since we turned it 'off' people said as long as we have the forum on it is okay.
I will not say the site will run better without downloads but it is not the only thing people are going to be a member for. As long as you guys have the intelligence to answer most of the (difficult) questions they will stay.

of course, it's a copy of the original sonyericsson website, but you did a good job adapting it to your needs.

however, i fear there might be some copyright issues. "originality", "recognition" and jurist crap like that.
