OK if we are talking about ugly then this pic might get your attention:

btw: I'm kinda worried that this nokia will be something like 9210- it was really good when it came out but after 6 months it was already kinda old and big

while p800 is still one of the best if not the best mobile in the market and it's almost a year old and most important you can hardly feel it in your pocket.

p900- 7700- nokia has edge, high res screen and tv
EDGE- ok it's good but i personally don't give a shit because it isn't ready in our country and i doubt that it will ever be, why?, most operators are working around the clock to make 3g a reality and i don't really see the point of making an edge network now when 3g is knocking at the doors... I think that edge will be something like hcscd- it was good but who would use it if gprs is out?
HIGH RES SCREEN: excellent screen no doubt but i don't see a single mistake in my p800 and 3650 screen resolutions! hell! p900 has smaller dots than pocket pc and it's a mobile, so i don't think that anybody need that kinda display and i really hope that se won't do something like this, in my opinion it's only good for draining the battery!
TV: well yeah a nice feature but i really don't think that this belongs in a mobile phone, i would rather get a p900 and a separate casio mini tv, why? the tv has a better screen, reception and it doesn't drain you phones battery!!

but this is a never ending story: nokia introduces a phone that has good features, it's out in march, at the same time se introduces a new p*** with even more features and then nokia introduces a new comm.....

some of the time nokia people are talking about their superority and some of the time se fans.....

I think most of the time se has better phones

The digital TV add-on isn't anything useful at this stage. We are talking about at least 2005 before this would be available for costumers.

Ericsson and Nokia have agreed on a standard for digital TV for Mobile phones according to some articles I've read, but this is still far from being released. You shouldn't base your phone decision on the TV possiblities since the phone would be outdated before that will be available.

Streaming is already possible.. even though GPRS is a little on the slow side. EDGE would help... but UMTS (3G) would be the prefered network for streaming video. Although with the data traffic prices of today streaming video isn't very attractive

you dont get it the symbian OS does not make the screens look good its the actual hardware used and as we all know Nokia use poor low quality parts. I aint sure that, that thing would fit in a normal sized pocket.

No, you don't get it.

Series 60 phones = 7650, 3650, N-Gage, 6600 etc
Series 60 screens = screens of 7650, 3650, N-Gage, 6600 etc

oh and, "we all know" isn't exactly how I'd build an argument.

one more thing, every model of the Communicator family has been a success, sales wise. They still produce the 9210i because it sells.

Nokias being a sucess aint a big deal they have daft customers who buy the newest nokia just because its their! i know tons of idiots who bought a 7210 then got a 7250 when that came out nokia make dumb phones for dumb people SE make great phones for people who know what their doing. Right. Nokia's customers are daft so that's why it is the market leader. Okay. You win.

their market leaders because they have a huge group of fanboys willing to buy their products!

the mobile phone market has three groups of customers

group 1: Those who know what their doing and understand technology this group is the minority

group 2: Know f**k all about phones and just get the nokias all their mates have simply to look cool this group is the majority

group 3: people who use phones given to them by family or friends or get the cheapest on around this group is in the middle.

It never ceases to amaze me how people try to convince SE fans on a SE forum of the benefits of a Nokia. They would have better luck in persuading a firebrand Baptist minister from the deep south that its cool to be gay!
