i think it's great that globe went with a fixed rate na....pero mas maganda siguro kung

i would really like to see the fine print for globe's consummable plans because from what i saw in their ads, it looked to me like data usage was consummable, but while there was a free sms allocation, it seemed to me that there were no free minutes for voice calls. could i be wrong? if so, that would be very expensive....

what happened with the G-FLEX plan, it's like you're using prepaid with monthly free text, except that you have a fixed monthly service fee. if you consume less than the MSF, lugi ka.

consumable.. kaya wala nang free free. that only means.. lets say na 1000 per month ka.. you may use all that amount making calls alone, or 1000 text messages lang or puro MMS lang na worth 1000 or IDD na worth 1000 din or combination ng dalawa, tatlo o lahat.

tsong. internet chatting or net meeting is cheap (i.e. ISP bonanza is offering 20 hrs of internet for only 100 pesos)

@ dunkin2
if you really say any form of communication, then here goes:
1) EXPRESS TELECOM (extelcom)
They have an UNLIMITED calling plan. Saan ba province ng friends mo?
kung pareho kayo within Luzon, there is a P295/month UNLIMITED EXPRESS-to-EXPRESS. ganun din kung pareho kayo VISMIN.
Pero kung Luzon ka tapos VisMin sila (o kaya baliktad), then you should get the P590/month UNLIMITED Express-to-Express.
2) SUN CELLULAR
Gawin nyong I-SPEAK.
Pag nagtawagan kayo, Sun-to-Sun, P5 / min lang buong araw.
Medyo kalaban nyo rin ang signal. Pero magdadagdag din sila ng cellsite from Jan to June 2004.
3) PLDT TOUCH CARD
Di ko maalala ung exact price pero it's just P3/min or P4/min buong maghapon.
Good luck! let me know your final choice... =)

thanks sa mga input mo.
express telecom ddati gamit ko nawala signal dito mga2 yrs ago(zambales to manila).
dude what do you think of nextel? diba 4/min tapos per second charging? yung lowest plan nila 800+. marami ba sila extra charges? mga 100 minutes sana per day ang usage ko.

@ dunkin
i can't personally recommend nextel.
nextel is a TRUNK RADIO (or "walkie-talkie" service; "roger, roger...") kaya per-second ang charging nila.
Nextel is only recommended to business users (ex. Security Guard agencies, Delivery services, etc.)
Sige, happy talking! =)

@anthony: I tried downloading the internet settings of globe for wap usage. I even tweaked with it using the O2 and Ericsson IPs but it still didn't work for me. Apparently, you could enjoy it using an iternet browser installed in java-enabled or smartphones. Just turn the "show pictures" option off para mas konti kain nito sa kb. Aights.
