erm..... Surely your sister can make up her own mind??

And what would you say if you ran into a lady holding a phone you've qualified as solely suitable for men?

I've never met a women before that could make up her own mind - its allways "honey, how does these shoes look on me, honey do I look fat in this dress ?" And dear old me if I give the wrong answer

If I did run into a women with a nice E700 - I'd say hand it over to papa immediately

the other functions you mention are still relatively low penetration...

I beg to differ. Of course I do not know what gfirld you hang out with.... I personally do not know a single one that does not know how to use an advanced phone or pda and/or wons one

you misunderstand me. it wasn't a gender-specific comment. these features are low penetration for "joe average" mobile users, not the tech-savvy types who frequent this type of furum. the average person doesn't change their phone like they change their socks, but holds onto the same phone for years until it finally gives up the ghost (at least they do down under). as a result there is a whole legion of people still using pre-3310 nokias, phillips savvys, t-20s and the like who don't understand GPRS, IRdA, BT, etc.

i was trying to point out the technical ignorance is not a gender-specific phenomenon.

Folling, Catalonia's finest,

You posted your sexist comments here for everyone to see, so I guess you could have expected a public reaction (even with your level of intelligence).

Of course, you reserve the right to think and say whatever you want. So do I. Being a psychiatrist, however, I will keep my opinion (and your diagnosis) for myself.

May the New Year bring the fulfillment of both your wishes (although both seem equally unattainable).

I partially agree. Women sometimes can't make up their mind and tend to be vain or fickle (no offense to any women out there). But I truly believe they do it for approval. Most of the time, they already decided on the issue but are seeking for others opinion to make sure they are making the right choice (comparing it to guys and our egos, kinda smart on their part if you ask me)!

Caff, I am glad for your sis and her Z600. I hope it will serve her well for the next 2 years at least.

Vlam: Although it would be nice to hear from an old friend , I would appreciate some phonetic hints (e.g. is "V" pronounced as "F", etc.). From what I gathered from your posts, you're more than enough intelligent to figure it out. And - is that a name or does it have a different meaning (like "steaming pot of rice" or "an Irisih drinking song"?)

It means 'Little Flame' and is derived from my actual surname, which translated means 'Flame'

V is pronounced very close to 'F' and the 'e'-s both are pronounced as a short 'uh' sound, the 'a' is pronounced as 'ah'

The emphasis is on the first syllable, so it's something like 'Flah-muhtjuh'

I'd love to hear you say it tho as most foreigners simply can't

@Vlammetje

Nice, clever nick. I wish I came up with something like that and yes, I think I can pronounce it correctly.

Thanks guys ! Anyway, I found out that when taking pics on Z600, because it compress the file size in around 20-30k and pics looks a bit worst on phone. But if you transfer the pic back to PC and transfer to phone again, the pic would look nicer and of course occupy more memory spzce ! So there's a trade off ...........so transfer those pic u like to PC and back to phone again and they looks nicer ! Anyway, this aren't noticeable on T610 as the screen is STN!
