newer firmware versions mostly contain bugfixes, not very often there is new functions. If you don't have any problem with your phone there isn't really any use upgrading, normally it's free during the warranty period.

There IS R6B004 I'm using it right now...

Here are some clarifications:

-I don't know where it's from but it's R6B004 EMEA1
-This is not the beta version that everyone had earlier because this was JUST leaked by someone @ SE
-This is not the Vodaphone FW, that is R4B002

hello all i have just now downloaded the R6 firmware from cellular support. and the firmware file extension is .sbn.

could i upload this new firmware using my sony ericsson DCU USB cable ?. if so could anyone please please tell me how to go about it?
