Regarding your "bug" reporting: Is it a bug or a feature? I could imagine, that the MBM format is faster (and easier) to handle for the Symbian OS. If my background picture is loaded manually (anmiated GIF) it will take 2-3 seconds the first time until it shows up. Then it is ok, however: the MBM is popping up immediately.
Yes, also MBM's can be animated. If the translation of a animated GIF to an animated MBM was intended, but is not working, then yes: It's a bug.

Yup, you're right Luc!
Glad, that i'm not the only LCARS Fan outthere! I would welcome any input to make the V.2 Version even better. Will see...now i will be on ski holidays until next week. I hope to provide you all with a V2 by end of this month. If you (the readers of this thread) have good "background" images/suggestions of LCARS then let me know here (please post links here!)

Excellent work, truely excellent work. If I may offer a suggestion though, the flip open background could be replaced. Its a good background, no complaints on that front, but perhaps an image more reminiscent of a computer terminal from Star Trek would be better, animated or otherwise.
I was also wondering if it is posisble to alter the icons on the P900? If so perhaps Star Trek like icons could be implemented.
Excellent work though, really good stuff.

Everyone i showed it off too was impressed...
I agree with the other p900ers that some improvement cld b made to the background...Basically though, the lcars effect is in place...jus needs to be enhanced in terms of background n color to make it look like a 'real' lcars....
I'm sure u'll get a lotta help frm the many trekkies/trekkers here?

I'll be creating a tracker star trek theme soon.
Hopefully this will be released when tracker v4 comes out (which is soon) So it'll support animations!
