The t68 is a t68i without the upgrade but i think the person who created this thread meant both versions anyway :-) This message was posted from a T610

I got my T68m on day of launch (November 2001?) and it wasn't until November-ish 2003 I got rid of it. I had it upgraded firmware to make it a T68i and then I upgraded my contract to get a newer white T68i, but I couldn't bear to get rid of it simply because of how amazing it is as pretty much everyone following this thread seems to agree.

Friends kept having a go at me to upgrade to something else, my network even rang up to ask if everything was okay (because I hadn't upgraded and wanted to know if I was unhappy with their service!!!) but I kept telling everyone I loved my T68 and there was nothing else on the market that gave me the same functionality. Yes phone XYZ had a nicer screen, but at a cost of....

But all things must end. I bought a P900 and never looked back I miss my T68i in someways (it was so nice to actually hold for starters!) but I got Lemmings on my phone for cripes sake!! hehe

There's nothing out there that really makes me want to switch right now.

i'm just another proud owner of T68i... been using it for 2 years now..
now it's relegated as my 2nd phone coz i'm using a Z600 now...
but still, i won't ever sell my T68i.. it's still one of the phone with the best features nowadays... T68i rocks!!!

Until it breaks, bought one new aug 2003. Thought it's of great value nowadays, hell, you get BT, IR, GPRS, EMAIL Pop3, MMS and all-you-can imagine plus a great calendar and sync for less than $200.

I kept my T68i for almost 18 months, and only decided to upgrade it to a T630. I didn't want the T610 'cos everyone else had it, but the T630 is just as pretty as the T68i. All white/silvery...lovely!

My old phone was so fantastic though, and I'm hoping that my new phone will live up to it. It had brilliant battery life, easy keys to text with and despite dropping it and so on, the screen never froze. Love the card games too! The only problems I've been having with it recently is the battery life - while it used to last 4 days without charging, nowadays it only lasts 3 days at the most. But still better than Samsung!

I'm so satisfied with Sony Ericsson that I will stay with them and never switch brands.

I had a t68i before I bought my SE P800, about last year. 'twas really great having it, comes in handy. I promise to buy another one again if there will be an improved/more advance version that SE will release soon - promise!
