just a correction. not all SE phones are superb.
t200 very bad one (ok it was made by an asian company and not by SE it self)
T300 slow, bad buttons, very big.
t100 (hearing some software problems)
T310 sold very little, not much special about it.

all there othere phones are superb.
its just sad that there so hard to get. they don't make alot of them, thats why there market share is so low.

Just got a T630 - white - completely unbranded on o2 from onestopphoneshop.co.uk

20 quid with HBH35 BT headset (it's free without the headset)

14 day trial as well

worth a look!

Well I for one went back to Nokia from SE, due to many problems with the P800 and the T68i. Had so many exchange phones I lost count, and so far have been very happy with my Nokia's. I am interested in the Z600 and the T630,but I do not want to go down the road of having to send it away for repairs, or have to exchange it every couple of weeks. I have a Nokia repair center only a few miles away, and as yet have not had to use them, but I know if I need them they are only half an hour away, unlike with SE, which involves a weeks wait each time, And never realy any good anyway. So my question is, are thesephones any good, and this might be the wrong place to ask, as you all seem to hate Nokia, and seem to find no fault with SE at all. But looking throught a handfull of threads leads me to see alot of faults with the T610, P800, P900 but sofar nothing realy on the Z600 or T630.

nokia's are built to last for 6 -9 months (moderate use) so when it breaks its not worth giving you another one the same, they offer you a discount on another nokia model(which cancel's your free upgrade option - if you have one) where as se build quality phones so when you do decide to upgrade after however long, you pick another se through choice not just cos you get a 10er off, and yes most of us are se biast, cos most of us use se's and think they are great phones.....
not sure bout the other one but t630 is a v.good phone!

I recently confronted the Nokia vs. SE choice, and finally chose SE. Why? Because they look cool and they are more fun to use. Nokias are boring.

The only Nokia I ever have liked is 8850 due to its great and sophisticated look.
What can be said about Sony Ericsson, they are on the right track with all their bugs and quirks. I have Z600, T630 and T610 and all I can say is you definitely feel improvements from T610 in terms of speed and reliability. No sudden shut downs in my Z600 or T630.
You definitely should convert from Nokia to Sony Ericsson.
Nokia 6230 might be a very interesting handset but the built-in MP3 player drains battery as hell and the sound quality does definitely not justify a buy to not mention how really poor its 65k display with a resolution of just 128x128.
Bah, I don't want to write more about this already outdated phone.
It has not been released yet but will be so outdated once it release because other manufactures will release their handsets with same features and with far better display and much better cam at the same time.
