Dan,
Called t-mob again and talked to someone in Customer management. Basically when you dial 150 from your phone, presss option 2, then option 0.
This will get you to a operator.
Tell them that you are intereseted in upgrading, but want to know if there is anything 'better' that they can do for you. If you get no response, then asked to be put thru to the dept that deasl with disconnections (that always works).
You will prob be put on hold, listen to some sh!te muzak, and then get someone on the other end, who will say that they can give you an additional 80GBP on yr allowance. From conversation with loads of people in that dept, it seems that is the maximum that they are allowed to offer.
Good luck and if you get a bigger discount, post here and let us know.
Cheers

Dan,
I spend approx 70pcm with t-mob.
All I got was an offer of additional 80 (on top of 150) - thus leaving me to pay 140 for P900.
I asked if there was anyhting else poss and they said no (on various ocassions!)
Then asked about what the process was if I wanted to move to another network and disconnect from t-mob. (kind of thought that I would make a last ditch attempt). They were willing to give me the PAC there and then!! Told them that I would think about it.
Hope you do better!

so them at t-mobile knows how to deal with this. Take the pak number, give them a week to get back with a better offer, if no decent offer get a new contract with someone else, for £70 a month you should be able to negotiate a free p900

@P900 lover
This contract extension thing is a long-running scam. Whe they have promotions like these for new contract customers, they will say that existing customers can only benefit by signing a new contract exntension. This automatically removes your entitlement to an upgrade, but they don't tell you this (obviously). You're one of the lucky ones. I've had many customers who have been "done" like this, and there's not much you can do. You may have more leverage if you're a T1 (high-spending) customer.

Thank you very much funlovinkrim!!!
T-mobile said that they'll call me the instant the phone is released....yeah right!!!
Thanks to your advice, I called em, and guess what it is finally available on T-mobile, I'm getting it delivered at work tomorrow!! Yippeeee!!!
Price for the upgrade is mental though, £369.99!!! But thanks to a little whining, i've got em to give me a £180 discount and also the very early upgrade, so not too bad I guess....
Now all that I await is to see just how darn good the phone is!
Thanks again funlovinkrim!!!

I negotiated a maximum of £250 of towards my P800 last March when it was first launched. They offered me pretty much everything under the sun except more money off. I think they're limited to £250. Of course this may have changed now but i'm not sure. I guess i'll find out when i ring 'em up to upgrade. Already got a P900 but you can never have enough....
